The perfect time to join

It is a very exciting time to be joining SEALEY as the product range surpasses 12,000 products and we embark on our expansion plans along Suffolk Business Park. Our current site occupies a total of 21 acres split between the Main Distribution Centre and our Service Centre and Showroom. Having recently purchased two more parcels of land, our site is set to exceed 28 acres.

Diversity & Inclusion

At SEALEY, we believe in a healthy working environment that is inclusive of everyone. To support this, we have a policy that includes all aspects of diversity—from gender, age, and race to sexual orientation and disability status. By creating an atmosphere where people feel comfortable being themselves, and expressing their unique perspectives, everyone is free to contribute their best ideas. Our ultimate goal is to ensure fairness and equity for all employees across our group. However, diversity and inclusion is an ongoing process rather than a destination. With a well-designed diversity and inclusion plan, we can make fairer decisions at the recruitment stage, and foster a healthier workplace where employees feel heard and supported by our family-run business. It also means having access to opportunities within the company based on merit and hard work alone, not on personal characteristics.

The Environment & Us

Being a large regional employer, we recognise the important environmental role SEALEY plays in our local community and are genuinely interested in furthering environmental leaps to lessen the impact of our manufacturing supply chain carbon footprint. The directors regularly meet with local community and charitable groups to ensure that their views are considered and supported where possible. There is a clear structure within the company so that important local area CSR matters can be heard. We are always looking at ways to enhance our sustainable packaging and print and are committed to sourcing ethical suppliers. From adopting green energy generation, conscientious recycling and waste management, and warehouse tech, to treating our community with respect, we consider evaluating our whole trading ecosystem with an eye on a greener future, as the right ethical thing to do.

The Tool University

SEALEY has an ongoing programme for bright and enthusiastic individuals, to join our exciting SEALEY Tool University Programme. The fast-track scheme, set up to nurture new talent, will take around 18 months to complete, providing you with a deep understanding of each technical department, and how it functions. Candidates will be ‘learning on the job’ with a company that recognises commitment, hard work, and real career progression. You’ll be working within all departments of one of the world’s leading tool and machinery organisations with great scope for opportunities across the team of 450 employees. Whether it’s designing products, planning marketing or sales campaigns, working in IT, shipping goods around the world, assisting technical, analysing numbers in accounts, or engaging with employees in HR, you’ll be gaining a wealth of knowledge from all aspects of the business.
